Wetland Event at Bermudian Spings Middle School

On May 15th Frank Mohn of the Pennsylvania Trappers Association, District 8, and Jerry Pickel of Keystone Institute for Furbearer Education, provided a half day program to approximately 90 8th grade students of the Bermudian Springs Middle School. This was the fifth annual environmental study day where we had the opportunity to provide information on the wise use of furbearers and how furbearers help save wetlands. Due to weather the second day was cancelled and rescheduled for May 19th where Pete Ellerman and Jerry Pickel again provide information to approximately 90 more 8th grade students.

The program featured a variety of learning stations relating to the Wetlands that are located within walking distance from the Middle School.
