Jerry Pickel KIFE-VP attended the 2012 FTA college from Sept 9th till Sept 15th.
The college was attended by 48 students and 19 instructors.
This week long course covers the ethics of trapping, proper use of
baits and lures, life histories and management of furbearing wildlife
and humane use of traps, snares, calls and firearms among other
items.
The 7 day college is extremely intense with breakfast at 6:00am
and the final class in the evening ended at 10:00pm
